Romantic date ideas in Los Angeles don’t always have to break the bank. In fact, Valentine’s Day is the perfect opportunity to get creative and organize a meaningful date that’s either free or minimal cost. If you’re living on a budget, a cheap date spot can be just as special as putting down hundreds of dollars. I’ll show you some budget-friendly ways to spend Valentine’s Day 2022 in Los Angeles.
The best free date ideas for LA:
Take a sunset walk at the Griffith Observatory in the heart of Hollywood. The observatory is one of LA’s most iconic landmarks, perhaps most famously seen in movies like Rebel Without a Cause and LA LA Land. Be sure to dress warm though; LA weather in February gets chilly at night. Beach Picnic A beach picnic gets you good food and beautiful views. You can either prepare food before and bring it with you or grab takeout on your way to the beach. The great thing about LA is that there are plenty of beaches to visit. Just pick your favorite and take your sweetheart there. Cook Together at Home Cooking together at home is a great way to save money and have bonding time. Neither of you has to be the next Wolfgang Puck; All you need is a fun recipe both of you will enjoy preparing together. If it’s a first date, going to someone’s home probably isn’t the best idea. In this case, consider signing up for a one-time cooking class you two can do. Scenic Hike A scenic hike is a fun date idea that’s also active. It’s no secret that folks in LA love to hike (myself included). Rather than going to the usual Runyon Canyon, opt for a hike with ocean views in the Malibu or Palos Verdes areas. Comments are closed.
